Lecture Series

We currently offer the following programs for Classroom Lecture:

"Fireground Operations-From Smalltown America to the Big Apple"

This program will cover fireground operations in both the rural and suburban setting. Manpower and Alarm Assignment variations will be emphasized to show how we as firefighters adapt to the situation at hand.This class will cover First Due Engine and Truck Company Operations such as Initial Search,Hoseline Placement,VES, Forcible Entry issues and Building Variations.

"Rapid Intervention-Truth or Consequences"

This program discusses Rapid Intervention from the initial implementation of a team through operational critiques. Personnel selection as well as tool assignments will be covered along with Officer and Team member responsibilities.The instructors will discuss personal experiences involving Rapid Intervention and their outcomes.
